Theme: “Something about Love”

Location: Joseph Thomas Galleries, White Plains, NY
Submission Guidelines:
“Something About Love” is taking place in early February and themed appropriately for Valentine’s Day. We will accept submissions of pieces that fit within that title. Whether you would like to express love’s beginnings or finales, consequences, or sincere moments, we’d love to see them. Joseph Thomas Galleries adheres to a certain level of style, so just keep it in good taste please!
Criteria:
2 dimensional media only- (Paintings, illustrations, prints, drawings, digital prints, photography)
Size maximum is 24”x32”
All entries must be framed and ready to hang.
All work must be available for sale.
Each artist must agree to sign a contract with Joseph Thomas Galleries directly. Fair sale prices will be discussed upon signing.
Artists MUST be available the week before the exhibit to drop off work at the gallery.
(January 22nd-26th) Artists must also be available at the end of the exhibit to pick up the work should it not be sold. (February 10th)
Each artist’s work will be reviewed by a panel of judges including:
professional fine artists, Alden’s clientele, and the curators at Joseph Thomas Galleries.
The artists of the chosen pieces will be individually notified by January 18th, 2008 and will participate in the “Something About Love” exhibition. Artwork will be sold directly through Joseph Thomas Galleries.
